EDC Co-Sponsors Six Sigma Presentation

On May 19, 2009, Missouri Enterprise, in cooperation with the Clay County Economic Development Council, demonstrated to some 20 Kansas City health care executives how Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma could help them improve their hospitals’ operational performance, bottom-line and quality as well as patient, staff and physician satisfaction.

The workshop was held at the Cerner Corporation on Rock Creek Parkway and featured Missouri Enterprise Project Managers Kendall Cobb (shown in photo) and John Kunz.

At the interactive workshop, participants learned how a successful implementation of Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma drives dynamic culture changes that affect all level’s of a health care institution and how those culture changes can pay huge dividends for patients, staff and physicians.
