The beautiful Shoal Creek Golf Course was the setting Oct. 18 for the second annual presentation of Clay County opportunities. More than 50 area developers turned out to learn about Clay County. Several also took advantage of outstanding weather to enjoy an afternoon of golf.

The real estate developer’s seminar and golf outing was sponsored by the Clay County EDC in cooperation with economic development offices in Excelsior Springs, Gladstone, Kearney, Liberty, North Kansas City and Smithville.

Also present were representatives of several area utilities and private developers who helped present information on the opportunities, amenities and supports available here.

The visitors were real estate brokers and developers from throughout metropolitan Kansas City.

The morning session included information presentations by the Clay County representatives.

The afternoon featured an optional golf outing on the beautiful Shoal Creek Course.
