Two hours of development dialogue followed by one of the most successful Northland Cup golf tournaments yet occurred Oct. 5 when the Clay County Economic Development Council hosted the annual Developer’s Expo at the Staley Farms Golf Club.

Developers visited with economic development professionals from Gladstone, Kearney, Liberty, Excelsior Springs, North Kansas City, Smithville and Kansas City as they promote the latest development opportunities in their communities in a trade show format.

Following the expo, the Northland Cup golf tournament featured perfect weather and one of the finest private courses in the Midwest. Teams of four competed and enjoyed prizes for winning teams, closest to the pin and long drives.

Teams were required to be registered brokers or corporate real estate decision makers.
