Each year, the Clay County EDC hosts a number of major events, in addition to the ongoing activities such as the Information Exchange (see calendar for specific information).

These annual events include:

State of the County Address: Each spring the Council hosts an annual luncheon with County Commissions discussing important issues and future development.

State of the Cities Luncheon: Reserved for strategic presentations by area leaders, the spring meeting is held in April.

September Joint Luncheon: This combined meeting of the Clay County EDC, Platte County EDC and Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce features major speakers.

Look North Leadership Banquet: The October event of the EDC is an annual highlight, and includes the prestigious Look North Award presentation.

Keystone Recognition Awards Membership Luncheon: The December Membership Luncheon is the opportunity for presentation of this honor to business leaders who have played a crucial role in area business and development

EDC Invitational Golf Tournament: Usually scheduled in August, the annual tournament is an enjoyable way to raise funds for special EDC events.
