EDC Seeks 2010 Look North Nominations

The Clay County Economic Development Council is seeking nominations for the 2010 Look North Award. The award will be presented at the Development Council’s Look North Leadership Banquet at Harrah’s North Kansas City on Oct. 7. Nominations close Friday, Sept. 10.

The award will be given to recognize a person’s invaluable contributions to economic development and quality of life in Clay County. The Look North Award Selection Committee is composed of past award recipients and the Development Council Chair.

Criteria used in the selection include business achievement, civic leadership, cultural contribution and philanthropic commitment. The award is merit-based, and no deceased person or in-office elected government official is eligible.
