Clay County and the Northland: Financial Advantages for Business Growth
The Clay County Economic Development Council knows that adequate financing is often the key element in locating and expanding businesses. That's why the EDC works with affiliate organizations that provide low interest loans and other programs for a wide range of business development.
Midwest Small Business Finance (the Clay/Platte Development Corporation) is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration to package, close, and service loans under the 504 Program, as well as operating its own Revolving Fund Loan program. To learn more about these programs, visit the CPDC's new Web site at www.simplymoreloans.com (opens in new window).
The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Clay issues industrial revenue bonds on many types of projects, from construction to create affordable housing to new manufacturing facilities. These bonds are especially suited to large projects and offer substantially lower interest rates. To learn more about the IDA and industrial revenue bonds, go here.
