IRB’s are used as a method of long-term financing for private corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
Why should a person consider an IRB?
Funds can be obtained at a lower interest rate than conventional loans which means that the borrower will be saving money.
What can be financed with an IRB?
Land, buildings, structures, fixtures, machinery, and equipment.
How are bonds issued?
Authorized local authorities are allowed to issue bonds without prior voter approval in order to finance the costs of certain types of projects.
