Economic Development Council

Join with more than 680 businesses and civic leaders to make Clay County a better place to live and work. Our mission is to maximize economic well-being and opportunity in Clay County. We work to accomplish this through our three main goals of attracting new business, retaining and expanding existing business and industry, and finally, promoting a positive economic development climate.

Becoming a member of our team allows you to receive information about the newest businesses arriving in our area, as well as giving you an excellent opportunity to promote your own business as well. We offer six different membership levels, each with their own benefits and privileges.

We have several membership functions that are informational as well as a way for you to become more active. We typically host four membership luncheons each year as well as our annual dinner. We have several active committees, including the Marketing Committee, the Northland School Alliance, and the Civic and Legislative Affairs Committee. We have monthly information exchanges that are both a networking opportunity and a way to hear more about new developments in the Northland.
