EDC Committees

The EDC wants your help! Join one of the EDC's Committees and help us achieve even more accomplishments. Below is an overview of the committees and their work:

Civic & Legislative Affairs Committee

* Monitor and make recommendations regarding economic development related legislation and ballot issues.

* Maintain effective communications with appropriate state and local agencies and legislative bodies.

Events Committee

* Design and direct events and special projects. (Annual Dinner, Keystone Recognition Awards, Golf tournaments, etc.)

Northland Education and Business Alliance

* Promote the quality of Northland education and workforce development while supporting efforts for further enhancement. Presents the annual Star Partner Awards to businesses that support these efforts by working with local schools and educational programs.

Northland International Trade Assistance Group

• Assisting and promoting international business opportunities for area businesses through a wide range of opportunities from funding to trade missions.
